Has anyone suffered from bad side effects when taking the combined pill?

The only major bad side effect I had from the combined pill (microgynon) was that it failed.

I've been on the mini pill for the last four years and had no failures or major side effects. From what I remember about the combined pill though, I think the worst I had was mood swings, they weren't as bad as what I was like on the implant but they were still quite bad at times. My periods were regular and not too painful or heavy from what I remember. Everyone responds to pills differently so don't let anyone's bad experiences put you off. Just keep an eye on how you feel on the pill and if its not the pill for you then not to worry, there's plenty of others to try. Its very much trial and error when it comes to finding a pill that suits you.

I am on the combined pill for hormones. Whilst I can't say if it's effective or not (don't use it for that reason lol), it hasn't given me any side effects apart from slightly sore boobs. For the first two days I took it I had some slight spotting and a bit of constipation but that went away by itself.
