You know when you resit and you get a lower mark you get to keep the original one.
I was wondering if i had a paper remarked and it was remarked lower.
Would I be able to keep the original mark it was given
or would i be forced to take the one its been remarked to?

No, a remark changes your mark permanently, unless you appeal against the remark, and i would have no idea about the procedure for that. i would guess it would involve a letter to your exam board.
