I have a bit of a problem, I applied to a few places way back and had interviews for them got my offers. I had an unconditional offer, which is for a university in my hometown which I accepted a while back. I did this as I wasn't sure if I could afford to live away from home (as I've done an HND previously and am not eligible for course fees blah blah) but then my Dad has said he'd pay my course fees and I'm completly regretting the decision to stay here and would rather go away, the uni I want to goto has sent me a letter saying 'it's not too late you can still come here' but can I cancel an offer that I've already accepted?

You will have to ask your current uni to release you. Do it soon and most unis wont have a problem doing so, as they can still fill the places with clearing students.

But makre sure your preferred uni will definately take you before you throw away the one you've got!

    Phone both tomorrow

Most (if not all) unis will release you - it's in their best interests. They don't want students who don't want to study there. Good luck!

True - they wont want students who are likely to drop out during the year to go elsewhere.
