I am panicking because my first draft is due to be read by my teachers but it is just so bad!

I am applying for economics and french and I have no idea how to link the two and say why i want to study both of them in my introductory paragraph

For my economic ideas, I have no idea whether my opinion even make sense.I am panicking because i have no time to change and analyse another book.

Furthermore, I prepicked beforehand a VERY specialised economics book on where government invest. It really interests me but I have no idea how to link it in my ps and how to form a critical opinion of it with my economics knowledge. Do you think specialist ideas are good or should i go back to a more applicable idea such as inequality?

Do you think i should just let my teacher read it? I know my teacher can't help me so I wanted to send off a finished draft but there is no time and I am actually panicking too much to be able to finish it.

I'm applying for economics, and finding a relevant book is a great way to talk about why you want to do the subject. Pick 3 things you have learnt/interested in from the book and maybe elaborate on why they attracted you to the course at their university. Shows you can analyse text and compare it to their course content.
