Big red bags under eyes

Hi
I've got big and I mean big red bags under my eyes had them for about 4 months now, been to Dr's twice, got eye drops and some piriton. Dr's really not that helpful and seemed in a bad mood when i went.
Don't know what's causing it, and it's really starting to get me down as i look wierd, and people at work (i'm a waitress) keep asking what i've done as i look like ive been in a fight!
Help, advice and ideas please!

getting enough sleep/stressed/ research on the net/ ask your gp to send u to a dermatologist etc

yeah, make sure you're getting a lot of sleep, drink a lot of water and take vitamins? i have no idea what it could be though :/ have you tried all of the usual, icecubes, cucumber? in the mean time until it goes, try using some concealer, i use benefit boo-ing for dark circles/bags under my eyes that i get all the time. at least then people would stop asking you if you've been in fights so much lol. and go back to your doctor.
