    Hello,
Currently, I am taking iGCSE and next year I will be taking A levels. I am thinking about taking economics as my career so I am planning to take:

    Maths
    Further maths
    Economics
    Physics

I am also thinking about taking further maths because it one of the facilitating subjects and goes well with economics but I've heard that it is difficult and time-consuming. If I don't take further maths, what other subjects can I take? (other than History because I am not really good at it).

If you've got maths and economics then follow your interests for your third choice - pick whichever subject you find interesting and think you'll do well in.

Some universities will only consider FM as a fourth A level so it's worth having as an 4th or 5th choice (usually colleges wont have problems with this as it will be timetabled in with your maths lessons in yr 12). Avoid business studies as a 3rd/4th choice - it wont usually be considered different enough from economics to be considered a full A level.
