I had a huge spider crawling over my duvet at 3:00AM this morning. Thank goodness I was awake to catch it and throw it out of the window.

They can see to an extent. They 'hear' by sensing vibrations through whatever their creepy, hairy little bodies are clinging to at the time. And can probably sense vibrations in the air if they are particularly hairy.

I had to chuck a spider out of my window last night, using a mug and some paper I found on my desk. Unfortunately, I grabbed a piece of paper from work, on which I'd drawn a large cat, and a sketch of an arse labelled "you" (about my friend). I then proceeded to launch it out of the window along with the spider, and now I can't find it.
