hey, so this year in fm we're doing FP1, FP4 and Decision. However, I don't really understand this because on the exam timetable it states it as a A2 module, and so I assume you can get an A* in it - which obviously you can't get for the whole AS.
I was just curious to see if it does just convert into an AS grade or is it more complicated??

    thanks !

You can't get the A* in AS - but it can count towards your A Level.

I took D2 last year and got 100 UMS, but it wasn't an A*. It's just that in FM you must have at least 3 A2 subjects (not sure if FPs count) & you need an average of 90 UMS in 3 A2 modules for the A* (I THINK - I remember hearing this, but I'm not 100% sure).

Core 1-4 must be in your maths A Level and the Further Pure modules must be in further maths. The applied modules all get allocated at A2, with the best ones counting towards your maths A Level. So your D1 may end up counting towards your maths, not fm

(sorry that was really badly explained lol)
