I do enjoy Civil Engineering more, I like the concepts, I'm not a big fan of electricity (which is a part of mech eng)

But I really wanna go to a good Uni.

    Any advice?

Which russell group and which mid uni exactly tho? Bc if your russell group is Liverpool and your non-russell in Bath, then I'd go for Bath since you'd enjoy the course more and there is not much difference in reputation. If you're pitching Oxford against Swansea though..... Oxford.

Bath University has a greater reputation compared to Liverpool, although they are both good universities.

I'm sure you've asked this recently, but Russell Group doesn't matter: it's about whether you want to study, and become, a civil engineer or a mechanical engineer. In studying mechanical engineering, you will likely cover some electrical and electronics topics, but it doesn't have to be a particularly large part of the degree. I wouldn't let it put you off.
