Sorry I think this post maybe in the wrong place.
Can an employer keep sick pay from you if an absence has not been put through the system as sick? I've now been off work a week and when I rang in today I was told I don't need a sick note unless I'm not back next week as I wasn't put down as being off sick. She knows the reason I've been off is due to having surgery and I told her a few weeks in advance. I'm just worried that I'll not get my sick pay as I'm only contracted 10 hours a week to start with!
