FIFA have released a ten man shortlist for coach of the year. Personally, I think it should go to Ranieri with Santos in second and Zidane in third, what do you guys think?

It should quite clearly be Ranieri but as it's FIFA it'll be Zidane or Enrique.

It should be Claudio but the winner will be Zidane most likely.

Don't know why this needs discussing. It's obviously Ranieri.

Completely stompted the Bundesliga, won the German Cup and got to the semi final of the Cha!pions League playing some beautiful football. I know some people wont be happy unless Pep cures world hunger, achieves world peace and wins every single game he manages 30-0 but he had a very good season last year.

Complaining about Pep being on the list when there are others on that list who won nothing is odd.

Right, why did Bayern "stomp" the Bundesliga? Because, just as Celtic in the SPL, there's no competition. OK yeah the semis of the CL is a great achievement, but Leeds got there about 12 years ago and now look, also, it's kinda expected that a team like Bayern reach the latter stages. Again, the German Cup, same rules as the league apply.

Pretty sure I could have won the league with Bayern. And in the CL you can argue that he lost them the semi with his weird line up.

Emery? Pep won a league he was expected to win and got ****ed in the competition (again) he was supposed to win. Did nothing special last season. Emery won the EL for the 3rd successive season.

And currently Emery's PSG are six points behind a team led by Mario Balotelli in the league they won by 31 points last year.

PSG have already lost as many games as they did the entire of last season and are six points behind in a league they utterly dominate. That is simply too big a blemish to overlook, it also contradicts your point against Pep that winning "one team" leagues are easy. That is assuming you call the Bundesliga a one team league when you look at how strong Dortmund were last year and the dicking Wolfsburg gave to Man Utd and the CL winners.

So they'll win the league but perhaps not by a bigger margin.

It contradicts nothing. PSG will still win the league comfortably.

Of course winning "one team" leagues are easy. There is hardly any competition bar a couple of teams and the fact that Dortmund were "so strong" yet finished 10 points behind confirms that. Wolfsburg finished over 40 points behind Bayern. They can give all the dicking they want, doesn't take away the fact they're **** in the league.

Fact is the Bundesliga was always going to Bayern. The players they have and how they buy up the competition was evidence. The CL was what Pep needed and he got 'dicked' hard on multiple occasions.

Emery won the EL for the 3rd successive time. More impressive than winning the Bundesliga imo.
