My History teacher has always told me that my introductions are very bad, and I have just been given a History essay on "Why was there so little opposition to the Nazis" and I have no idea how to start it

    Thank You

An introduction is pretty much a summary of what you're going to tell people, so that they know what is coming. So for this case, you would briefly discuss what time period you're looking at, what opposition means, and a bit of information on what you're going to discuss. You can say things like "there are three main reasons why there was little opposition: Bob, Fred, and George."
