    Should 'Law' be capitalised throughout in personal statements?
    No.

    I would only capitalize when referring directly to a particular module or degree course:

    "I want to study Law (M100) at UCL";
    "I am particularly interested in the module 'Widget Law and Practice'";
    but not "My interest in Criminal Law arose when I saw repeats of Rumpole of the Bailey on ITV"
