For my a levels (a2) I am choosing art, design and tech and physics for my fourth, (as level) I was going to chose chemistry but I was wondering would single maths be of more use to me, it would be dropped after a year (it's just to get ucas points really) I much prefer chemistry. I would like to be a designer, I like engineering. Which is my best option

it ties in better with the rest of your subjects and wouldn't require a great deal more work as opposed to chemistry which is a whole other field of its own that has no similarities between any of your subjects and is actually very difficult at Alevel so should not be picked as an 'extra'. you should only do it if you're looking to do chemical engineering or summin.
EDIT: oh thought you were considering a fifth. i think maths would be more useful to you since engineering requires maths and physics and sometimes even further maths so physics alone would be pretty useless :/ chemistry has a lot of stuff on polymers and materials which could help with design but again; not as the 4th subject that will be dropped it requires a lot of time and work which if you're doing art and design - you won't have much ofLast edited by z33; 02-11-2016 at 20:01.
