    it depends on how close you are to your brother cos personally im not that close to myn and i would hate for him to read them over the phone just in case they were really bad. you will be so busy anyway that you wont be able to celebrate as well and that moment of opening the envelope will be an experience by itself. As well as this your brother might not care as much as you would want him to and after all youve worked for 2 years to get those results so surely you should be the first to see what youve got.

    i wud like to say i wud wait for my brother....however, it wud kill me especially when all ur friends txt u abt their results...besides u can wait to open up ur AS/A level

    I would want to open them myself. I don't think I'd want anyone to tell me over the phone as I like to see things written down.

    When I went to go get my AS last Thursday I got the paper, walked outside and then finally opened it.. looked at it and then looked at it a few more times. I find it's easier to take things in if you can read it.

    You could (I certainly wouldn't) get the results posted to you at the hotel. Recorded delivery etc.
