Both great universities. Personally I'd say Birmingham.

    Hi Prosp100,

You'll probably find you'll gain more opinions by posting this in the Economics forum rather than in UEA's forum, but here are a few key stats from Unistats which is a great website for comparing universities, based on the views of actual students studying each subject.

Everyone has a different reason for why they end up at a certain university. We know from Unistats the cost of living in Norwich is relatively low, and our accommodation and private accommodation in the area is very competitive compared to bigger cities. According to the latest National Student Survey our Economics course is ranked first for academic support and second for overall student satisfaction.

Moreover UEA is a Top 15 university (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017), consistently a Top 5 university for student satisfaction overall (National Student Survey) and within the World Top 100 for research excellence (Leiden Ranking 2016).

By all means start a new thread, but let's not get off-topic in the Economics thread

I find Birmingham a more solid university so you should go there.
