Hi, I am at college and am paying for a part time course on the side while SAAS pays for my HNC. The first payment was taken two days ago and instead of £72 being taken , £155 was . This is cause I was previously doing two courses but I dropped out of one of them three weeks in. Also due to expecting £72 to be taken I had £100 sitting there for it but I am now overdrafted £50 which I can not put in for 4 more days as well as the fees for going over.

So my questions are. Was I fairly charged the full amount and if not , would the college be liable for refunding the money and paying my additional overdrafts caused by their mistake?

I doubt that the colleges owe you a refund, as you attended two courses (albeit one for only three weeks), I'm afraid.

What does the colleges terms and conditions state?
