is there any way to change the order of my ucas choices without having to go back into the editor and physically change them? I just didn't realise that when i was to pay and send the order, i put them in what was going to be my " preferred choice" it was simply the order i discovered them. if i had to put them in order, my current "fith choice" is actually my second preferred choice. or does it even matter?

The order does not matter at all; I believe they are presented to the universities in alphabetical order but with the institution names redacted. No university can see your choices until after you have received all your offers.
