I don't think a guy and girl can truly be best friends without someone developing feelings. Unless both were already in a relationship, anyway.

Okay tbh, I probably look at it this way because I haven't been in that situation before.

I'm friends with several guys and am really close to about 3 of them. I know who they all have feelings for so I can't really see that happening. Also, no, I don't have feelings for any of them. So I just don't get it when anyone says a girl and guy just can't be friends.

Okay I'm ngl but people who don't know that you're friends with the guy, may just assume there's something going on and all but still. :tongue:

Normally when somebody you have known for a long time quickly changes it would make sense that he likes you, so maybe you could ask him in conversation if hes got his eyes on anyone or is looking for a girlfriend, but also take into consideration if things dont work out you may well lose a best friend. but it could also be a good thing for both of you.
