I have got an interview coming up and go to do a 5 min presentation which can be seen below
Imagine you are going to teach a Year 10 GCSE Business Studies group. It is their first year of Business Studies and you want to introduce them to the a new concept How would you do this in a way which:
    • actively involved pupils
    • built on their own experience
    • made use of ICT
You will need to consider lesson objectives. teaching and learning strategies, student activity and the resources that you will make use of. If you have any ideas on the best way to present this, that would be great!!

First off, pick a subject to teach, then go from there. Most lessons start with some form of starter. Why not have some sort of mini-quiz to test knowledge? You can then run the same quiz at the end of the session to prove learning outcomes. It can also be used to establish what they already know on the topic so that you can pitch the main activity at them. You might want to give a brief lecture on the topic and then come up with an activity that allows students to investigate, learn, consolidate or whatever. A final plenary of your quiz again would hopefully see an improvement. As for ICT - have students make a slide or Publisher page on the topic. Or screenshot something an annotate.

Top tip - assume most students know little or nothing. If anything, under-pitch it with the option to move upwards. You will also find that simple things like saving work cause the biggest problems.

    Good luck!
