Is £6.20 even minimum wage in 2016?

I was recently hired and fired from a job after 4 days with only 2 days of training because I was making too much mistakes. Which is stupid really who doesn't make mistakes when they new to a job. 2 days and in the third days left to my own means is not training but incompetence on their part. job ad said no experience needed and full training will be given which was an utter lie. And I suspect i was not the first person.

Anyway I got my wage slips I was told a'll be paid £7.30 an hour and yet they paid me £6.20 per hour I think the minimum wage for a 21 YO in 2016 is £6.95. Is this even legal.
