As i am only at the beginning of year 11, i have decided to apply for 6th form and study A levels. The options i have decided to choose are - english lit, maths and economics. However i dont know if this is a good mix or even so is economics even well respected? as the grades have changed for the new GCSE ( from 1 to 9 ) i have been getting 6+ in maths ( equivalent to a B/A ) and 6s in english. my school requires 6 in english and a 7 in maths in order to study it in a level. i know i will achieve these grades ( well hopefully i think ) by the end of the year however i am still not sure if i should even choose maths as i think i might struggle with it. in the future i am planning to go to uni and perhaps study marketting/business or accounting. i am not sure yet but somebody please give advice on what looks best ! Thank youu

Those are fine A-levels to have, especially as you are interested in going to uni to read Marketing or of that merit.

If you enjoy English and Maths at GCSE then study it at A-level. As long as you have Maths or Economics/Business at A-level you'll be fine when applying for Accounting/Marketing/Business at uni.
