Make sure you process the information semantically and put it into your own words, reading and making sure you understand before writing.

So last year I bought the CGP revision book. From this I covered a wall in Post-It notes with bullet point information, wrote revision cards with more detail on them and I did every question in the book. This got me an A last year (95) and I'm predicted an A* this year

Although I haven't sat this exam, I'm studying it now and I find it useful to make flashcards. A question that could be an exam question on one side and clear points on the other.

When i studied aqa biology last year and got an A at a2 after getting a C at AS was that for me simply reading the text book slowly and answering the textbook questions and marking them was the best way for me to learn. I also learnt that my teachers weren't really there to teach but rather guide me on what to study. Another thing is make sure you complete as many timed past papers as you can even from old spec if needed.
A levels is all about how efficiently you spend your time and how much effort you put in. On a side note the education system is flawed it doesn't judge a persons intelligence but simply determines whos the best sheep.
