Hi! I was looking for some help/advice. I am currently contemplating dropping out of sixth form college and applying again next year. This is because I made mistakes with my subjects.
Okay, so, I've never really had a clear idea on what I wanted to do. I've always had an interest in politics so I was thinking of going into that for ages as it's something I actually liked. Because I didn't know what I wanted to do in the future I wanted my A Levels to be varied, I wanted to take Government and Politics, History and English Lit but because I missed the entry grade for History (I got a B, they wanted an A) and English Lit lessons clashed with GovPol i couldn't do that either. I now have to take GovPol, Sociology and Psychology. I guess they're okay but they're not exactly varied.
Recently i've shown an interest in business, marketing etc. Like, a strong interest and I seriously think its something I'd like to pursue in the future. However I was looking at entry requirements and they all really want Business A Level or a creative A level (for fashion marketing etc) and obviously I have quite the opposite of those. I really want to go to a good uni but I feel like my dreams are crushed now. I don't particularly hate my current subjects but I just feel i'm working towards nothing.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
