i know that many of the companies we apply to for grad schemes have the right to keep the data that they collect from your application. but supposing an applicant is unsuccessful one year but applies the next, after graduating, would they cross-check applications to check certain information?? not personal details of course but other cv-related info. eg, my cv neglects to mention one piece of work experience due to limited space. if unsuccessful this year, i may include it in my cv next year. would they monitor/notice/be suspicious of that?

also, do they discriminate against people who apply twice after failing to make the cut the first time? of course they may not say they would/will, but....

    all help appreciated
