Should Britain intervene to save the US from self destruction?

It will be disaterous if Trump wins the election. As a former commonwealth member of the British empire do you think that Britain should intervene to bring its former member back into line?

It could result in the US being ruled jointly by the rest of the commonwealth as we feel responsible when a country we created puts the world in peril by electing someone who could destabilise things.

For a time, until a suitable president is found the US would be ruled by the British commonwealth and reinstated as a full member.

We would not give them the option to ignore. If sufficient anti-Trump supporters ask for our help then we would feel committed to get involved and bring the US back into line bringing the US armed forces under our control.
