    To clarify is this k_\text{map}=k_m(1+\frac{1}{k_i} ) ?

    Yep
Divide by k_m then subtract 1. What are you left with?

    Divide by I?
I get kmapp/(Km*i)-1= ki but dont think this is right.

I get kmapp/(Km*i)-1= ki but dont think this is right.
So you're given that k_\text{map}=k_m(1+\frac{I}{k_i} ) so dividing by k_m, subtracting 1 leaves \frac{k_\text{map}}{k_m}-1=I/k_i dividing then by I and flipping both sides (taking reciprocal) gives us k_i = \frac{I}{\frac{k_\text{map}}{k_m }-1} and the fraction can be simplified further to get the fraction off the denominator.
