I get kmapp/(Km*i)-1= ki but dont think this is right.

So you're given that so dividing by k_m, subtracting 1 leaves dividing then by I and flipping both sides (taking reciprocal) gives us and the fraction can be simplified further to get the fraction off the denominator.
