    Hi there,

I am desperately trying to find our whether I can receive funding for a second degree in occupational therapy in England.

I am a U.K. Citizen but was brought up in Australia and did a degree in communications there. Does this count as a first degree in terms of UK funding or can I apply?

    Thanks so much in advance

It doesn't matter where you got your degree from. All they care about is whether you've already studied before.

There are some exceptions when it comes to second degree funding. I can't remember off the top of my head whether occupational therapy is one of them.

    Hi there.

We need to consider qualifications gained from anywhere in the world so the Australian Degree would need to be considered.

Occupational Therapy is not an exceptions course so you will already have a Degree equivalent to one you want to study in the UK and we can only offer Grants for Dependents (Childcare, etc) as well as Disabled Student Allowances' if these apply to you.

Do you want your parents to be with you when you collect your A-level results?
