    Please someone help me. I was given a table to fill in for the effect of temperature on the activity of amylase.

    The table has the temperatures (shown below) and then time take (minutes). I am suppose to work out the rate of reaction. How do i do this? Thanks

    temp --- time (minutes)
    0 ------- 45
    10 ----- 35
    20 ------ 7
    30 ------ 2
    40 ----- 5
    50 ------ 14
    60 ------ 30
    70 ------ 45
    80 ------ 45

    Rate of reaction would be \frac{1}{Time Taken}
    You should probably convert the values to seconds before you calculate this (multiply by 60), as seconds are the scientific standard unit for time.
    If it's an exam question though, they will probably the answer in the same form as the question, so don't convert the units.
