2. p(4+t) = 3-2t
p4 - pt = 3-2t
2t-pt = 3-4p
t(2-p) = 3 -4p
t = 3-4p/(2-p)
3. t=(3-4p)/(p+2)
4. Get rid of the fractions by multiplyig both sides by (4+t) to get 4p+pt=3-2t then get like terms together so you have pt+2t=3-4p then factorise and divide both sides by (p+2) so that t=(3-4p)/(p+2)
