Ok for my University place at Imperial i needed AAB, A in maths, A in chemistry and a B in Physics. Results are in and i get an A in maths 479/600 for chemistry (1 mark off the A) and 478/600 for Physics so got the B but 2 marks off the A.
Therefore i fell short of my offer by 1 UMS mark, 1/600, 1/6% whatever that close. I rung up Imperial to see if they would accept me and they said no. Harsh? Anyway, sent off for priority remarks in chemistry and physics. Don't know exactly when i get to know the results are published (any1 know???).
If when remarked my grade in chemistry goes up to an A i have met my offer. Therefore i should be accepted into Imperial. However my insurance is Bath and i would be still pleased to go there no matter what the remark. In the time between now and finding out the remark i am preparing for life at Bath Uni but a part of me is thinking there is still a chance of going to Imperial. Do i have to tell UCAS if my grades change. What should i do?
