So there's this boy who i'm kind of interested in but i'm pretty sure he's interested in someone else. I've spoken to him a few times but never really had a proper conversation. I don't know what i'd say to him without him finding out i like him. People have suggested asking about work and stuff but so many of my friends do the course so i always think that he'd wonder why i'm asking him. what would you do?

I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you asked him about the work. You could try to just be friends with him at first and then see how it goes. Talk to him about anything, get to know him and if you find that you get on really well, you could tell him how you feel.

Going straight to asking him out and you'll come across as being too strong.

Ask him out for a get together i.e. drinks and take it from there.

So I've done exactly this and things have gone well. Only problem is, is that I'm now friends with the 'someone else' he's interested in.

Just i just try to get over it?

How do you actually know if he is interested in someone else?
