Isn't electrolysis used to extract copper?!

PROSM
Fully shaven is much better for the guy if he's giving oral. Nobody want's to be flossing their teeth. Otherwise short and neatly trimmed (but not long trimmed) is probably the best way to go.

Lol that's a different kind of electrolysis. I mean the hair removal technique that destroys the growth of the hair with chemical/ heat energy using a needle. It sounds painful. It probably is but I don't think it's that bad from hearing other people's experiences.

Well, I'd hope he'd perform oral on me though.
I've probably watched too much porn, but bald is beautiful in the vagina world.

Hey guys,

So I've been thinking about getting laser hair removal or electrolysis hair removal which ultimately means there will be hardly any hair to no hair on the areas I decide to get either treatments on. Why I mainly want this is because of ingrown hairs. It's just ugly and painful so thought of just getting rid of the hairs or at least reducing it to the hairs being almost gone down there. I'm about to speak to a consultant but I need to make a decision on what bikini look I am going for. The two I am interested in is Hollywood and Brazilian. Hollywood is bare meaning no hair at all then Brazilian is a thin strap of hair going down the middle. This is going to sound stupid but my fear is removing all hair, then realising later on in life my husband loves his wife having some hair down there and me not being able to grow the hairs back again lol. I know it sounds dumb but I want him to be happy with what he sees though I haven't met "him" yet. I even told my mother this and my worries and she just laughed and said I should think about it. But I don't know.
No hair is easier on the mouth, but as long as it's kept clean I'm not too bothered. That said, stubble/very short isn't very pleasant.

Might as well just shave. You can grow it back just by stopping, that way.

Freshly shaven in that case :colone:

Then again, longer bush is easier to hold out of the way.
As someone who's experienced laser hair removal:

It's quite expensive - you're probably looking at roughly £600 for 8 laser treatments each lasting maybe 30-60mins. Unless you're naturally not particularly hairy down there, it'll take more than that - I got recommended to have 12. I've currently had 8 & do need more. (although as you're female you'll probably have a natural advantage over guys in this area) . After you've had your full set of treatments then you're meant to go back occasionally for top-ups (annually if I remember correctly) .

Laser hair removal is quite dependent on hair colour & skin pigmentation - light skin & dark hair will have the best results. You also have to avoid getting a tan which , unless you like nudist sunbathing, probably isn't an issue around your pubic areas but could be around your arms/pits.

Pain - there's definitely some pain involved but 95% of the time it's quite bearable. Occasionally one blast of the laser will have you wanting to cry out. I've never experienced waxing so I can't describe if they're similar but I have heard that can be painful too.
What I would say is that getting tapped but one of those electric flyswatter tennis-racket type things is more painful . Basically, expect some pain but don't let it put you off.
I personally found the worst part of the treatment was actually after the laser had finished as you then have to hold an ice pack to the area to cool it - it's bloody uncomfortable lol.

I know the company I went with gave out a free test session to ensure compatibility so I definitely recommend you try that before spending your money.

I see. Wait so with stubble is it that it's rough on the mouth or? I wish I could shave. I tried many times and it's why this whole problem with ingrown hairs and blisters started. Not to sound gross but curly, tight coiled hair has made life difficult for me though I love my hair pattern. I just wish it was different in 'other' areas lol. I'm having the same issue on my armpits so I'm having laser there also.

TBF in that case maybe you're right. All I'm really saying is do what you're comfortable with, and what's easiest for you.

And with stubble... well, imaging rubbing your face against someone who's not shaved in a few days.

Thanks so much for this!
I found it so helpful x I know right it is expensive. I'm spending £716 for mine but that's 8 sessions for any bikini, peri-anal and my armpits altogether so maybe it isn't too bad. But yea, I am quite hairy so I'm sure I may need more than 8 sessions too. I'm of darker skin and I've heard horror stories of black women getting burned which put me off a little. However I emailed the clinic and they explained a different kind of laser will be used suitable for Asian, African American, tanned skin so I'm about to book a consultation it's just finding the time when. Lol, ahhh I'm thinking of getting numbing cream or taking paracetamol because the pain really is what I am scared about but after reading your advice this made me feel way much better so thanks so much x
