    Hi there,
I want to study Engineering at Sheffield university and their offer is AAA. However i got predicted a ABB. I don't think they will give me an offer with those predicted grades. My physics teacher said it is possible for me to apply in August if i get the right results.
Does anyone know if this is true and has anyone tried it?

That would mean going through clearing/adjustment - it's not guaranteed that they'll put the course up for clearing though. If you don't have another choice instead of Sheffield, you might as well apply there anyway as it's only one of 5 (but if there's somewhere else that has your grades then put that)

    >90% chance of offer... (I guessed your A-levels, but the 3rd one isn't significant)
