    I sent off my application on Thursday (3rd November) and was just wondering how long it took/takes most Universities to send out offers/replies. My choices were to study English Language and Linguistics at:
    King's College London
    Queen Mary

    At AS Level I achieved AABU with an unfortunate U in Philosophy which has to be included when sending off. I'm worried that Universities will look at this in a negative light, however I did drop the subject before the exam as I truly hated it. I achieved full marks in both my A grade subject exams thus am predicted A*A*A but I'm just slightly concerned that I haven't received any yet when most people I know had one a day or so after applying!

    * Don't panic*
    I got my first offer from UWE, Bristol just in 3 days after applying but I haven't heard from the others as yet.
    The universities have time till May to reply back with an offer. Until then, you can just sit back and relax I guess.But to be on a safer side keep checking your UCAS track account.
    For example, my application to Cardiff metropolitan has been moved on to a different list and will not be considered by the university even for an offer until i submit my art portfolio for which I got a mail on gmail.
    All the best!!
