I need some help with fructose. I need to know about how fructose is absorbed via facilitated diffusion.

idk whether fructose is a large or a charged molecule (only these types of molecules need facilitated diffusion), but i'm guessing it's large.
1)the molecule attaches to a carrier protein in the membrane
2)the protein changes shape
3)this releases the molecule on the opposite side of the the membrane (the inside)

Remember this is down its concentration gradient, and requires no energy.
