Hey guys, please could you help me solve this puzzle. I think it's impossible? If you can do it please helpp thank you so much


All you have to do is to place 31 dominoes (as shown at the bottom of the picture) onto the chessboard in order to cover all of the squares on the board. You will notice that 2 opposite corners of the chessboard have been cut off.

The two squares removed are of the same color. So it is impossible.

It is impossible, surely.
Every domino has to cover precisely one square of each colour. But in covering the whole board, you would cover more white squares than black squares.

It is impossible. Whoever told you it's possible is wrong.

(Assuming that all squares on the board have to be fully covered, and that each domino covers exactly two adjacent squares).

Did some googling. Apparently the problem is called the 'Mutilated Chessboard Problem.'
