I am currently studying Religious Studies, Geography and Biology at A level and am predicted A*AA. Currently, I would most likely want to do geography next year at uni because it is my favourite subject. However, I really enjoyed the human geography AS modules, especially the economics based ones. I have also heard that economics has better employment prospects than geography.

However, I do not have A level maths or economics, so would only be able to do a BA in economics, which I heard is less respected than a Bsc. As well, I am concerned that I won't enjoy the economics course as much as the geography course. I am also considering doing a joint honours, but i am unsure as to how well respected these are (I would do a joint donors in UCD-An Irish university).

In summary, I would like to enquire as to whether it would be a more sensible option to do a BA in economics, or a Bsc in Geography, in terms of employment opportunities, If id be able to keep up with the course and my enjoyment of the subject.

Thanks in advance for your help

First off, forget about respect. It will get you nowhere. Have a look at courses and work out if you can do a joint honours, which unis offer it and what it covers. If not then work out which course you will enjoy more and go with that.
