100% taxes doesn't even make sense. There's no point having money if you're going to tax at 100%, might as well just have the state distribute the resources directly seeing as no purchasing is going to be happening. You're talking communism, the world has proved it isn't ready for communism - maybe it never will be.

YES. We must Seize the means of production.

    Unbreakable union of freeborn republics
Great Russia has welded forever to stand!
Created in struggle by will of the peoples
United and mighty, our Soviet Union!

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of people, in brotherhood strong!
Oh! Party of Lenin! The strength of the people.
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

Through tempests the sun rays of freedom have cheered us
Along the new path where great Lenin did lead!
To a righteous cause he raised up the people
Inspired them to labour and valorous deed!

In the victory of Communism's deathless ideal,
We see the future of our dear land
And to her fluttering scarlet banner,
Selflessly true, we always shall stand!

Apparently taxes would double if le Corbynistas ever got into power, to fund an extra half trillion in extra debt binging :pierre:

Source? And surely if whatever's being done is being funded by taxation, then it's not 'debt binging'.

surely if whatever's being done is being funded by taxation, then it's not 'debt binging'
Indulging in avoidable additional debt creation, thus rendering our stock of debt even more unsustainable - particularly given little room for further taxation and no evidence that sizeable tax increases will increase public receipts (quite the reverse is theoretically and empirically the case) - cannot be construed as anything other than 'binging' by any reasonable soul with a basic grasp of Economics
