I did Physics A-level in one year and got an A  So it's possible.

Yep, its definately possible, I know a few people who have done it. Just out of curiosity, are you doing this on its own, or along side other subjects at AS or A2? If you are doing it with other subjects, there'll be alot of work, but if you try hard enough you should manage. Good luck with it, hope it goes well.

In most cases, two blocks of lessons or after-school classes, I'd assume.

I did Maths A level in one year this year and got an A too. It only used one block of lesson time though (same as every other AS) so it was a bit hard-going sometimes....

I think Maths is the most common A level to 'fast-track'. Not sure if Psychology would be feasible, but it depends on how much time you can/are willing to spend, whether you're doing other exams etc.

yep
im planning to do AS and a2 chem in one year
i would go to an evenign class once a week
im also planning to carry on A2 bio and A2 eng -so it would be very intense :| but hopefully it'll work out as im planning to work extremelyyyy hard..i would go to college and take all the classes then get private tuition

and also learn from my friend (8A*s at GCSE and AAAAa at aslevels..who also does chemistry) as shes very good at helping me with topics i find hard

best of luck

I did AS & A2 economics this year, along with AS & A2 business studies, along with A2 law ... so INTENSE  but I got ABB at the end of it so it was well worth it
Im fast tracking maths this(my A2) year! Although due to my hardwork this holliday it wont actually be that fast, only 4 modules to do instead of 6.
did an extra alevel bio in a month, no teaching, and only used a crappy cgp book lol.
managed a high b

I'm thinking about doing this. Did you self study or get a tutor? and on which board?

thanks

I did maths in a year and it was a really good decision, we did 4 modules in january of AS and i messed up two so i was able to repeat them in June and get the A.

Well done. I would've thought the A2 classes would have drawn on your knowledge of AS... wasn't this a problem?

Are AQA easier then, I found edexcel physics hard, but then again I was 2 UMS points off an A. I saw AQA AS chemistry and it looked easier than Edexcel chemistry.

Yeh I'd be doing this alongside 2 A-levels, and maybe while retaking 1 module of AS physics this January. But I'd get tuiton for the 1 year A-level.

probably psychology, with tuition. Has anyone done, or knows someone who did, an A-level in one year with A or B.

This is in school/college? If so then it will be very intensive and require great management. It has a lot of subject material to cover, and sometimes it can get really confusing (I did AS Psychology and got a mid-B).
I'm doing Fmaths like that this year. My school has had good success with it (all As last year and this year)...so I'm hoping that I'll continue that!

hmm you dont even need to do that. i did a-level chem in one year and the best thing to do is read through the AS textbook before you go to school then join straight the A2 class if it fits with your timetable. that way you wont waste time with the AS (half of its GCSE stuff and the other half is common sense). It's perfectly doable in fact I had to do less work for it than for further maths...
