When you're writing a thread or post do you need to have all of the buttons like Bold and Image when writing on mobile phones?

We've found these may slow things down and a plain text editor would make it much faster.

    What do you think?

Not really necessary I would think, especially if they slow things down.

Yes because typing it out is so annoying since the square brackets are on a separate page to the letters. But it means a slowdown of the app, then nah...

Just talking about the mobile version of the site at the moment. Do you think using bold etc is totally necessary tho?

Can you not just highlight the text and make it bold instead of having a dedicated boldify button? And no, if it's slows stuff down then no
