Nationality confusion Watch

I just turned 18 and I was trying to register to vote but I found it really difficult to decide what my nationality actually is.

Although I was born in the UK and received my National Insurance number and all the things that goes along with being 'British', my passport, which is French, says that I am 'French'. Does this mean I have a dual nationality or am I one or the other?
