What is more impressive and makes me more employable?

Maths MSci or Maths BSc sandwich year?

Probably the sandwich year as most companies recruit a lot of their interns, there's no reason why you couldn't do an MSci with a year in industry though

I don't mind doing an MSci and a year in industry but how do I check?

Just email that uni's maths department, I'd be surprised if they said no though, maybe if you did your industry year after 2nd year they'd discourage you from doing the MSci as there's a slight chance it may lead to you losing your graduate job offer but other than that there's no advantage to them to say you can't do an MSci with an industry year.
