    Hey,
What you've got to remember is that tissue refers to a load of the same cells working together to perform a function. So there are actually different kinds of cardiac tissue for example. One type is mainly made of cardiomyocytes, ie heart muscle cells, however you do also have the epicardium and endocardium, which will probably be made up of squamous epithelial cells (I've not checked this). Cartilage is composed of chondrocytes, which are cells that produce a large amount of extracellular matrix rich in things like collagen. Epidermis is made of melanocytes and keratinocytes, which I think are types of epithelial cells (the epidermis itself is stratified squamous epithelial tissue as far as I remember), and finally, nervous tissue is simply neurones.

Things become organs when there are different tissues working together, the heart for example will be made of muscular tissue, nervous tissue, epithelial tissue and connective tissue.

    Hope that helps somewhat
