I dropped a subject at GCSE so last period tomorrow I have a free period usually I just go to a free room and study but there is no point in staying in school that period all my coursework is done and I'd rather just study at home since it's last class, but I'd be leaving like 15 minutes before the end of the day.

If you're going to a medical appointment you have to sign out in the office my mum usually signs me out but I'm pretty sure a student is allowed to because before when I was leaving for an appointment a teacher asked me have you signed out. I'm just worried that the office staff will question me why I'm signing out, of course they might not even take any notice of me. Is it ok to sign myself out and leave early?

It really depends on your school's policies but your best bet is to stay where you are for now so you don't get into trouble and find out what the school policy is for later.
