I do 4 as subjects including business and economics. If I dropped business at AS would I still be rejected by russel groups because of the combination between business and economics

Why do you think you would be?

Look up the unis you are intersted in and their entrance requirements. Unis have different ones. You have to do the research. You simply need to find out for yourself if your remaining A levels would be acceptable for whatever course you decided to do.

    Grade matter.

You have the answer right there. LSE don't like a combination of economics and business A Levels. You're dropping business studies at AS. What are you confused about?

If you have 3 subjects at A Level, then choosing economics and business studies is bad. But you have 4 at AS, and are then dropping business studies for A Level. So this doesn't apply to you.
