Can someone tell me what it's about? All I've heard is food, dancing and parades. And fights and pickpockets. I might be going next week, not really sure what it's for/what to do there or anything though.

Where is the field? Do you have a map?

And does anyone know what tube stations are closed and how is best to get to the parade?

Where does it start from and what time?

    Thankies!

i think http://www.mynottinghill.co.uk/notti...procession.htm will answer most. it takes a while to play it all though.

    And fights and pickpockets.
And gangs and knives and guns.

But don't worry, according to the Met Police and the London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea it's 'not carnival related', that makes it okay.
