    It's here!

John Lewis have said that they wanted this ad to be a bit softer and more entertaining, due to 2016 being quite a heavy going year for everyone.

    What do you think?

The Ad equivalent of a Betty Crocker cake mix - the same ingredients added in the same quantities in the same order to produce a reliable, yet slightly bland and uniform result.

They go in my top ten most disliked adverts of the year for precisely this reason.

last year's Hitler on the Moon Looking at Little Girls thru his Telescope was rather odd

    this seems much less weird.

People are complaining that it's not teary enough and that it "proves Santa doesn't exist"...

I dispute the notion that "it's funny to counteract the heavy going year" - these ads are made nearly a year in advance, they had no way of knowing in March / April how the year would pan out.

or like they break it and the girl starts crying and then befriends the foxes bc friendship means more than presents

That trampoline would be covered in so many different types of animal **** it would be a bloody biohazard. You would need to burn it to get that literal **** off it.

Also city foxes are a pest and should be shot on sight.
