So I'm trying to plan a trip for next year (September 2017). I've never planned a trip myself and therefore have no experience and I'm not sure if a travel agent will help me with what I need.

    So the plan is.....
    1. London to Switzerland around Locarno area (thinking stay around 2 nights)
    2. Then travel down to Venice (around 3 nights)
    3. Back to London

I'm looking for something affordable but still nice. Also any time from beginning to mid September.

Any help will be appreciated! (links, recommended hotels, budget etc.)

    Trip Advisor, Kayak, Hotel Trrivago.

There's a super good website for finding unadvertised cheap flights skiplagged, be sure to check it out.

Hi! So the question is: how do you want to travel (train, plane, car...?), how many of you are travelling (just you or with some friends and, in this case, how many friends?), where de you want to stay (does it have to be a hotel or can it be like an Airbnb or something?)

According to these answers, I could help you a little bit more to plan your trip

How much are you expecting to spend?
