What is the difference between applied computer science and computer science? I'm looking at applying at Leeds and I've noticed that they have both of these courses.. I am interested in doing Computer Science however the Applied CS course has slightly lower entry reqs making it less attractive.

What's actually the difference and will I be more disadvantaged (less employable) if I were to take the applied CS course?

Also, if I apply for both of them will that take up 2 out of the 5 places on my UCAS application? The courses are offered by the same university
